After a short personal concert break, yesterday the time had come to photograph a live show again. At the concert of The Sherlocks at Chelsea Vienna I got the chance to be there with my camera once again.
The alternative rock band from across the Englisch Channel came to Austria with their brand new album "Under Your Sky" and single "NYC (Sing It Loud)" and rocked the well visited Chelsea Vienna. Their mostly guitar-based sound with a peppy drum kit is perfectly rounded off by the fantastic voice of frontman Kiaran.
Support act for the quartet form Bolton upon Dearne was King Nun. The four musicians from London brought their debut album "Mass" to the capital city. In contrast to the music of The Sherlocks, King Nun's music was more aggressive and rough, tending towards punk rock. Additionally they gave a great performance close to the audience, as frontman Theo even joint the crowd and let out his emotions.
What a powerful concert, with lots of great images and finally, once again, two young rock bands on stage.
