English versionAuch heuer war ich wieder beim Waves Vienna mit dabei und es gehört mittlerweile zu einem meiner Lieblingsfestival. Die ausgezeichnete Bandauswahl und die tollen Locations in und rund ums WUK bieten wirklich alles was man sich nur wünschen kann. Von kleinen Singer-Songwriter-Sessions im gemütlichen Cafe, bis zu den großen Acts in der WUK Halle ist für jeden etwas dabei. Zu meinen Highlights dieses Jahr zählen nicht nur Hip Hop Queen Neneh Cherry sondern viel mehr auch, Gewalt, We Bless This Mess, Kovacs, Kids N Cats, Blinded Butcher und Odd Couple.Again, this year I was part of the Waves Vienna photo team and in the meantime it became one of my favourite festivals. The excellent band choice and the great locations in and around WUK are offering everything a festival visitor needs. From small singer-songwriter-sessions at cozy coffee shops, to the main acts at WUK Halle there is something for everyone. For me, this years highlight wasn't just the headliner Hip Hop Queen Neneh Cherry, but rather more Gewalt, We Bless This Mess, Kovacs, Kids N Cats, Blinded Butcher und Odd Couple.
