FirleTanz #19, Mayfair, aNNika, Pablo J

Einmal im Monat findet im Kramladen der FirleTanz statt. Für mich nicht nur ein Fixpunkt weil es unheimlichen Spaß macht in diesem Setting zu fotografieren, sondern auch auf Grund der hervorragenden Line Ups. 

Am Vortag noch bei den Austrian Music Awards und am Abend drauf mit einem Acoustic Programm im Kramladen. Mayfair startete den Abend mit Akustik Metal vom Feinsten. Egal ob auf Englisch oder Deutsch, mit tiefem, teils aggressivem und perfekt zweistimmitgem Gesang, dezenter Gitarre und einer stimmigen Setlist konnten sie voll überzeugen.
Die Musik von aNNika hingegen ist feinfühliger und im typischen Singer Songwriter Stil. Mit Gitarre, Cello und Kontrabass spielte das Wiener Trio lebendige, poetische Lieder, die sowohl tiefgründig als auch witzig waren und den Zuschauer*innen immer wieder ein Lächeln auf die Gesichter zauberte. Mit Räucherstäbchen, Naturschallwandler und Kerzen nahm Pablo J zu guter Letzt den Kramladen mit auf eine spirituelle Reise. Wunderschöne Flamenco artige Gitarren Melodien, rhythmisch anspruchsvolles Cajon, Texte zum Nachdenken und effektvolle Improvisationen prägten den Auftritt von Pablo J und beenden den 19. FirleTanz. Dann also bis zum nächsten Mal!

FirleTanz is taking place at Kramladen once a month. For me it is a monthly fixed date, not only because taking pictures in this setting is loads of fun, but also because of the fantastic line ups. 

On the previous day at the Austrian Music Awards and on the following evening on Kramladen's stage with an Acoustic program. Mayfair started this evening with acoustic metal at it's best. Whether in English or German, with deep, partly aggressive vocals and a perfect second voice, decent guitar and a harmonious setlist they convinced with a moody setlist.
The music of aNNika on the contrary is more sensitive and typical for the singer songwriter genre. With a guitar, a cello and contrabass the Viennese trio played lively, poetic songs, which where deep on the one and funny at the other hand and managed to make the audience smile not just once.
With joss sticks, "Naturschallwandler" and candles last but not least Pablo J took the crowd at Kramladen on a spiritual trip. Beautiful flamenco like guitar melodies, rhythmically challenging cajon, thoughtful lyrics and improvisations filled with special effects characterized Pablo J's show and was the finale of the 19th FirleTanz.
